Hurricane
Ahhh... The hurricane... One of the worlds' best Tiki drinks. This drink is literally 50% rum + 50% not rum - A recipe for a great time indeed! This is one of the best drinks you can make with Passion Fruit Syrup and will definately leave your bartender with sore arms after a long day of shaking.
Ingredients
- 2 oz light rum
- 2 oz dark rum
- 2 oz Passion Fruit Syrup
- 1 oz orange juice
- 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
- 0.5 oz grenadine on top
- Garnishes: Orange Slices and Cherries, Mint, Pineapple hearts, or muddled berries
Instructions
Add all ingredients into cocktail shaker with ice.
Shake vigorously.
[Optionally] Strain into hurricane glass & garnish with Mint Sprig + Lime wedge/wheel or any other tropical fruits.
Notes
You can easily dump all the used ice into the drink - this is meant to be a fun, delightful, and tropical drink that easily gets the party moving.
This drink is INTENSELY popular - beware the delicious flavors. Experiment with different brands of rums to enhance the flavors.
